Earth Science for Young Catholics

"Lately, I have been trying to become more of a "STEM"-focused homeschooling mom, since I have three boys who are into engineering, and four daughters, two of whom are interested in nursing. However, it is very difficult to find good Catholic STEM sources. The more research I do, I realize it starts from little on. Nurturing a fascination with God's creation in science and feeding a child's natural curiosity goes a very long way! I am very pleased with this text because it does just that! Everything is so clearly labeled, and it has many colorful charts, diagrams, and images. My favorite is a full-spectrum, world-wide time zone chart, which is something I have wanted to see myself, all of my life! The chapter reviews are not too overwhelming, which is great! They are simple, short, and do not have too much writing. This is an absolutely beautiful textbook! "

"This is an excellent grade school geology/meteorology/environmental textbook. It is clear correct and most importantly a delight to read. Earth is a beautiful planet and the pictures on just about every page of this beautiful textbook demonstrate that. We should all be grateful for living on Earth and this introductory textbook will show you why."
