There are fascinating little photos throughout the book as well. It is very clearly laid out and is easy on the mind and eyes. The directions are clear, in bold, and simple enough for a student to read themselves. There is a beautiful prayer at the beginning of each lesson, which is short but sweet. There are various kinds of maps, which is nice, because it gets the student accustomed to different kinds of them. I love this series, and as far as I know, it is the only truly Catholic geography, grade-by-grade, series out there!"
