Art 3 for Young Catholics - New Second Edition! This is a brand new book, completely different from the first Edition and is used for the Seton Home Study School 3rd Art grade curriculum.

This new Second Edition book is designed to expose your "Little Masters" to a variety of art and artists and to teach them some of the techniques used in creating art. This new workbook combines art appreciation with hands-on projects. It is designed for Third Grade students, but parental help may be needed for some of the projects. This book contains 18 pairs of lessons, for a total of 36 lessons. The first lesson in each pair explores a type of art or a subject in art. The second lesson in each pair provides a project that gives the student the opportunity to create their own masterpieces based on the theme or technique presented in the previous lesson. Some of the projects are quite simple and can be accomplished quickly; others are more involved, and it might be best to spread them out over a few days.
