Mary Fabyan Windeatt (1910–1979) was an American Catholic writer known primarily for her children's books that focused on saints and Christian virtues. She spent much of her life dedicated to writing inspirational literature, particularly aimed at young readers.

Windeatt's books are celebrated for their engaging storytelling and strong moral lessons, based on the lives of saints. Her writing style is accessible and aimed at conveying spiritual truths in a way that make the stories of saints relatable and inspiring for young readers.     Many of her works have been used in Catholic schools and homes to teach about faith, courage, and the examples set by the saints. These books not only recount the lives of the saints but also emphasize their virtues and the impact of their faith on their lives and the world around them.
