The book and flip chart are identical, so you could get along with just one or the other if money is tight, but the art work is so pretty you should spring for the flip chart if you can. The material offers beautiful pictures that will inspire conversation between the child and parent. What a wonderful way for little ones to learn about the Faith!

Answer:

Unfortunately the flip chart is out of print and no longer available.

Illustrations on a couple pages are a bit scary
Some of the pictures in this book were scary for my children..pictures of the devil lurking in the background. I was disappointed and felt the scary images were unnecessary.

Early catechism for age 2-5 yrs
This little book teaches the Sign of the Cross, Hail Mary and Our Father with the help of many gorgeous pictures that captivate little ones. The pictures and explanations offer many opportunities for discussion with your little child on so much more than just the prayers introduced. This has been my favorite book for early catechism to my youngest children. It is also a favorite to bring to mass for my toddlers.
