Love learning about how Catholics shaped our country
I have really enjoyed learning about our Catholic heritage with my children. This book is clear and well written. There are enough pictures and excerpts to keep their attention. The one thing I think that would make this even better would be a "unit" test to see if the student has retained the information. There are review questions at the end of each chapter which are great, but I would have liked something more. I would recommend this book.

Great History Book!
This is an engaging American History book. My son used it last year in school. Much of what he learned has stayed with him (and me as well) and he asked me to see if there is a world history version of this book for his summer reading this year! I highly recommend it.
