A new fantastic point of view
In the animated movie Aladdin, Aladdin takes Princess Jasmine on a magic carpet ride as he sings “A Whole New World”. Aladdin shows Jasmine a shining, shimmering splendid world, and that’s exactly what Jeannie Fulbright does in her splendid zoology textbook Exploring Creation with Zoology 1: Flying Creatures of the fifth day. This excellent grade school homeschool textbook delights, teaches and inspires the reader with the amazing flying creatures that inhabit our earth. This book explains the amazing things that animals can do, such as birds that can fly at 25,000 feet where there is little oxygen, or the surprising ways that birds and insects defend themselves, like using camouflage or dazzling maneuverability. You’ll learn that though bats seem creepy, they are actually quite gentle and they do a lot of good by pollinating fruits. But more importantly, you’ll see unmistakable evidence of God’s fingerprints in the design and instincts of animals. Jeannie Fulbright has written a truly delightful book that will take you on an unforgettable tour of the flying creatures that inhabit our earth. It’s clearly written, accurate, and truly educational.
